Tim at the front desk gave the best customer service. He let us know about local areas to dine and places to take the kids. Plus he had a beautiful dog he brought out to let our little one love on. Rooms were clean. Heater heated up the room fast. Location is perfect between Sonora and Pinecrest. Quick off and on and beautiful scenery all around. Quiet, comfortable, and great hospitality. Rooms have coffee, a fridge, microwave, tv, and toiletries supplied. Spacious room. Thank you Tim. Thank you for helping us start 2023 on such a great foot.

We've stayed here many times. It has always been an affordable, clean room with all the basics we need to be comfortable: heat, fridge, microwave, water pressure, hot water. New management has continued the tradition of friendly, approachable service. And it's pet-friendly. A great addition to the area.

Very great location, rooms where not the best nor the worst. You get what you pay. But I and my family enjoyed it. They had plenty of pillows, towels, clean bedding/room. There is limited food choices so plan ahead.

We staid for the 4th of July. The inn is under new management who are in the process of remodeling and upgrading the place. The couple who run the inn are very nice and friendly. We had a good conversation while checking in. They filled us in on where they are in their remodel. Although consistent with the price point, everything in our room was brand new. The shower head and water pressure were great. Everything was fresh and clean. Took some time to hang out by the pool, it was comfortable and quiet.

Under new ownership, this Inn is in upgrade mode. The lobby, very classy, clean and nice. It tells you what quality they're aiming for, once they've completed the renovations. Actually, even the outside, though full of snow looked very nice, like perhaps that was the first thing they fixed up. The caretakers for the new owners are very friendly and accommodating. You get the sense that they enjoy their work and are just generally good people. The room we stayed in was one that hadn't yet seen their upgrades. I got the impression that they addressed the things that needed fixing, but the full renovation was yet to come. The care takers offered to have us switch rooms, probably to one of the renovated ones downstairs, but we just liked the upstairs. The tv and fridge seemed new very new and easy to use. We were able to watch Netflix films and Disney plus with no problems and off of the hotel's account rather than having to connect to our own. The black out curtains actually block out a decent bit of the light. In the winter, if you're staying there during a snow storm, you will most likely see snow (yay for kids like ours!) because the Inn is just a nudge above snow level, but depending on your comfort level with driving in the snow, bring chains or plan on bringing an early dinner into the room. There was a bit of dirt full of snow that our 10 year old played in, however I would not recommend this for tiny kids because it's right next to the highway. During a work day in the morning and night, the snow plow trucks were out there removing the snow from the parking lot. Also, there's a nice coffee shop just across the street open every morning that you can get a breakfast from without driving. We would stay here with our family again. It's a very good value. I can't believe it's only a 2 start hotel. That really doesn't make sense to me.

The new ownership and management has really made significant improvements on this place. It’s an amazing value for your dollar! The remodeled rooms are well done with no corners cut on expense. You’ll sleep sound and have a modern, super clean bathroom/shower to enjoy.

I had a rough experience with a Vrbo in the area—I didn’t get to the place until nearly midnight, only to find it filthy and clearly uncleaned. Between dealing with Vrbo support and repacking my car, it was a stressful mess and getting late fast. I started calling around, and most places weren’t exactly thrilled to hear from someone needing a room at that hour. But then I called this place, and John at the front desk was incredibly kind and patient. He waited for me to arrive, even though it was already late, and I was so grateful. To be honest, I’m picky when it comes to hotels. If it looks sketchy or dirty, I’d rather sleep in my car. So I was completely surprised when I walked in and found a quiet, clean, and updated room waiting for me. I have seen the rooms that weren't updated and are super clean as well. I'm actually writing this from the room right now, feeling incredibly relieved. Funny enough, I never would’ve discovered this place if my original plans hadn’t fallen apart—but I’m glad to know it’s here now, and everything happens for a reason
